Education for Success

The surgery itself is just a tool that can be utilized to affect these changes.  Everything else we do is designed to give you the knowledge you need to be successful, the encouragement to preserver and all of the assistance you need to achieve your goals.  The cornerstone of our program concept is education.  Dr. Bovard personally takes time with his patients to discuss the causes of obesity, unique and successful ways to increase metabolism, finding all solutions that will work to assist with weight loss.  It is this personal approach and relationship that Dr. Bovard has with all of his patients that have lead to the unparalleled success that his patients enjoy. 

Attaining bariatric surgery is an involved process that requires extraordinary effort and diligence on behalf of the patient.  The pre operative certification process can be extensive, arduous and confusing.  We at Bovard Bariatric Center feel that you do not need to carry this burden yourself, and take it upon ourselves to ease the process.  From your initial appointment to the final authorization we will conduct your application and arrange your medical workup to fit your schedule.  Whether it is gathering your medical information, defining pre requisites required by your insurance carrier, or arranging all of your pre operative procedures and test to be done in one day, we will do all that we can to streamline your workup.  

Support and Guidance

Continuing support and personalized service throughout your weight loss journey is imperative.  With this in mind we strive to be available to our patients for needed face to face conversations outside of the regularly scheduled appointment.  You should always be able to arrange to see Dr. Bovard within a reasonable amount of time without waiting for an available appointment date.  More importantly, and unprecedented, all patients have access to Dr. Bovard via his cell phone 24 hours a day 7 days a week, for any questions or concerns.  He has even been known to make house calls when necessary.  Try to ask any other physician for their cell number and a house call and see the response.  Just attend one of Dr. Bovard's free informational seminars and see for yourself how his passion and enthusiasm shine through.  You will get just a taste of what is ahead for you in this journey and you will see why so many people have such faith and confidence that Dr. Bovard is the one man to guide them through.
