Fast Track Program

What is Fast Track?

Bovard Bariatric center has implemented a FAST TRACK program to get you on your road to a quick weight loss success.  The best candidates for the Fast Track program are those who will be paying cash for the procedure, and those who have most of their insurance paperwork completed (including approval by their health insurance carrier).   Our goal is to get you to surgery in as little as 14 days. 

It is as easy at 1, 2, and 3.

Step 1

Call our office (919)340-BAND- To get set-up for our on-line education module (Emmi), discuss payment options, and to schedule your pre-op appointment with Dr. Bovard.

Step 2

Complete online information module- Emmi takes approximately 30 minutes to complete. This module explains the surgery as well as the recovery process. Emmi is an interactive presentation that you can view online at your convenience in the comfort of your home. This module will answer many questions, even ones you didn't know you had!

Step 3

Come in for your pre-op appointment-During the initial consultation, Dr. Bovard will evaluate your medical history and current medical conditions to see if you are eligible for surgery. There are also several standard tests which can include: Upper GI, Blood work, EKG, Psychological evaluations, Diet Consultation and an Abdominal Ultrasound. Once all medical tests are completed and reviewed, Dr. Bovard will discuss surgery details.
